The White House isn’t having its best week.
Or its easiest. It’s trying to manage the economic growth bill through Congress, something in such peril that President Biden had to cancel a trip to Chicago at the last minute, just so he could meet with key members of both houses.
And, he had to watch is own Defense Secretary and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs testify under oath to Congress that they had recommended against leaving Afghanistan the way Biden ordered it be done by August 31st. That’s bad enough, but what’s worse is that the President spoke with ABC News and told the American public his military advisors were all in favor of pulling out.
Turns out, not true.
