Single use plastics come in many forms and with many faces. Storage bags. Drinking containers. Straws. Stirrers and packaging.
And after only using this plastic for a matter of minutes, most of it ends up getting thrown away.
It’s also estimated that since the 1950s, only 9% of our plastics are recycled which again shows so much mismanagement. It’s actually not getting recycled.
Where does it end up? In the ocean. And that’s a whole other problem.
