Many who fled the Almeda Fire took refuge at the Jackson County Expo. In the 24 hours since the fire began, hundreds of homes were lost, gas stations were drained, and fire crews worked tirelessly through the night. Goodwill partnered with the local community to provide as many resources as they could including bedding, clothes, and hygenic supplies. The outpouring of donations soon exceeded demand and here’s the best to help if you can. Monetary donations work best at this point and anyone displaced by the fire is still encouraged to come to the Expo grounds.
