On This Day in Music in 1972, Neil Young releases Harvest and goes on to become the best-selling Album of the Year. Moving ahead to 1984, the movie “Footloose” premiered in theatres, and two songs from the soundtrack started their climb to Number One. In 1985, Glenn Frey made his acting debut on a Miami Vice episode based on his song “Smuggler’s Blues.” Jumping ahead, it was on this day in 2004 we learned what a “wardrobe malfunction” is all about during the Super Bowl halftime performance with Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackson.
