Ya Gotta See This: Resurrecting The Woolly Mammoth

 

A team of scientists is eager to get to work resurrecting a long-extinct species of Wooly Mammoth. The remains of the great beast were discovered in 2005 by a man walking along the Guadalupe River. Now, using CRISPR technology developed at UC Berkeley, it’s possible to genetically replicate one of the largest Mammoths to ever exist in the hopes they could help counteract the effects of climate change.
